design of checks and forms for each turn-key Document Express™
installation. You can then use the built-in Document Express design
tool as needed to adjust company and bank information, MICR lines,
logos, text boxes, signatures and more.
Roughly 95% of changes are possible with built-in Document Express
design controls. Firms that produce under a dozen form types are
best served with this standard approach — using built-in
Document Express design tools and MHC assistance for the occasional
restructuring of documents.
In contrast, firms that use significant numbers of form types
and/or need to frequently restructure documents may upgrade to
Design Express™, a full-service design tool.
Design Express facilitates the creation of entirely
new document formats that are compatible with Document Express.
With Design Express, you can add the following form elements with
the click of a mouse:

Browse for graphic images, such as company logos. |

Add column headings, change font or alignment, or pull elements
such as detail lines or dollar amounts or any other fields
from the input file. |

Easily add and resize text boxes or tables. |
Any of the above may be repositioned, resized or
deleted using standard “drag and drop” controls, or
“nudged” to make minute adjustments. Select and move
an entire area containing multiple form elements, or insert a
conditional command.
